The city of Schrobenhausen is located halfway between Augsburg and Ingolstadt in the region of Munich. It can be reached via the federal road B300 connecting motorways A8 at exit 74 Dasing near Augsburg and A9 at exit 64 Langenbruck near Ingolstadt. Nearby airports are first of all Munich but also Augsburg and Nürnberg.

When reaching Schrobenhausen from Dasing leave B300 at exit "Schrobenhausen Zentrum". There is a large residential building to the right (1). Head left for the city centre. Immediately before it there is a roundabout. Go left here and follow the street until you have crossed the railway track. Turn right immediately after the railway crossing and go ahead up to the next one which is marked by a "BayWa" home and garden centre to the left (4). Turn left here (direction Burgheim/Langenmosen) and once again at the first opportunity, as if accessing the home and garden centre. Follow that street about 200m.
When coming from Langenbruck leave B300 at exit "Neuburg/Mühlried" which is marked by a McDonald's restaurant (2). At the following roundabout go ahead and follow the road through Mühlried to Schrobenhausen. After the town entry of Schrobenhausen there is a starch factory with a large cylindrical container to the right (3). Here is another roundabout. Leave it to the right at the first exit. Soon you will get to an underpass to the left which will take you across the railway to a third roundabout. Leave it at the third exit going left back along the railway track until you reach the "BayWa" home and garden centre (4). Go right here (direction Burgheim/Langenmosen) and take the next opportunity to turn left. Follow the street about 200m.
