Das erwartet Sie:

• Sorgfältiges und filigranes Bearbeiten von Glasfasern in mehreren Fertigungsschritten
• Vergießen von Sensoren in Formen mit Polyurethan
• Einrichten und Warten der Vergussmaschinen
• Prüfen der bearbeiteten Teile an Messgeräten
• Dokumentieren der Fertigungsergebnisse am PC

Sensor Line GmbH is a strong and reliable company, founded in 1996, with 10 employees in Schrobenhausen, Bavaria. We are a powerful and experienced team and operate worldwide.

We are specialists in fiber optic sensors in traffic technology and thus stand for one of the most advanced and promising technologies of the future. Our sensors are already used worldwide and are known as extremely reliable and durable. Our patented technology and our mature production ensure long-term stable and high-yield sales.
Since the beginning of 2021, we have been part of the Canadian IRD Inc., based in Saskatoon. Together with VDS Verkehrstechnik and Icoms Detections in Belgium, we represent the European branch of the IRD Group (IRD Europe GmbH).

Position Purpose
We are looking for a Software Developer to create and configure traffic monitoring and vehicle classification systems. Someone who is interested in creating innovative software design and sees the big picture. We are seeking dynamic individuals passionate about working with many technical components, including databases, containers, graphical user interfaces and AI algorithms. Focus is on adding value for our customers, this position collaborates with talented, knowledge-driven teams of developers and other stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Analysis of customer requirements for traffic monitoring systems from sensor technology to customer interface
• Software development and documentation of the customer specific solutions
• Testing of the programs, optimization of the software solutions in cooperation with our test engineers
• Collaborate with technical leads and operations team to continue delivering a scalable and reliable software solution.
• Provide technical coaching to service team and customers

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge of high-level programming languages (e.g. C/C++, C#, Python)
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in system and software development
• Language: Professional working English, limited working German
• Proficient in MS365 applications
